Get Active!
Attend a march or demo.
Actions to take- Go to St Andrews for the G20 events on November 7th
- Go to ‘The Wave’ Climate March in Glasgow or London on December 5th
Cut Down on Meat and Dairy
This saves more CO2 than you'd think.
Actions to take- Research the climate impact of meat and dairy
- Go veggie for a week
- Have at least one vegan meal a week
The Pen is Mightier than the Sword
A personally written letter to your MP can really speak to them.
Actions to take- Write to your MP about a climate related issue.
Watch your Waste
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
Actions to take- Get a compost bin
- Join Freecycle
- Fix 5 things that need fixing
Fly Less
It’s as simple as that.
Actions to take- Do not take a plane when there is a lower carbon alternative
- Write to your MP about introducing better subsidised public transport
Give your Home a Green Makeover
There are lots of things to do around the house that will make it greener.
Actions to take- Fit all light sockets with energy saving lightbulbs
- Have your heating on for one hour less than you do now
- Make sure you switch off all unnecessary lights/appliances

- Try taking pubic transport to places you usually go by car
