Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative Sponsors our Ride!

Great news!  The Arran to Athens Ride for Resilience is being sponsored by the Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative.  We have been given a small sum of money to spend on last minute essentials - puncture repair kits, tools and cleaning products.

The Edinburgh Bicycle co-operative started life in 1977 and is one of the longest-established workers' co-ops in Scotland’; awarding employees business ownership and voters rights, as well as an equal share of any annual cash bonuses.

The co-op stocks its own brand of bicycle gear – Revolution, offering high quality gear at very affordable prices.  The employees are all extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about all the equipment they stock. You can be confident that the staff will give honest and professional advice.

The Edinburgh Bicycle co-op is one of the larges bike stores in town, offering a vast range of products from low-end budget gear to top-of-the range equipment.  It also has a very wide range of women’s specific gear, unlike many of the other bike stores in town.

We have already purchased much of our gear for the Arran to Athens Ride for Resilience from the co-op - padded cycling shorts, gloves, luminous cycling vests, water bottles, cycling shoes and the like and have been very impressed with both the quality of the products and service of the staff.

We are very thankful that the Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op has sponsored our Resilience Ride, enabling us to purchase our last few essentials from them.
